When you hear the word ‘desire’ what immediately comes to mind? A sound? A caress? A weekend alone with a good book?! When you see a beautiful flower do you immediately uproot it from the ground or do you leave it to admire it later? How about a kiss from your lover? How do you manage that desire?
In all eastern cultures and philosophic traditions desire is an important theme that must be reckoned with by individuals interested in spiritual evolution. In Buddhism desire is seen as one of the major obstacles in reaching nirvana. In Taoism desire is a fundamental aspect of a person’s essential nature which must be fully integrated into consciousness. In Tantra desire is seen as a guidepost toward unity with the divine.
Desire is a function of the human heart and its manifestations are as varied as the humans who feel those desires and project them out into the world. But desire is also a surface, and in Essence of Desire we will explore what jewels of transformation exist below that surface. We will use movement, massage, sound, meditation, the five senses and especially the sense of touch- Taoist & Tantric massage techniques to engage in a deeper relationship with self and lover.
Osho says: “I have a totally different concept of desire. First, desire itself is God. Desire without any object, desire without being goal-oriented, unmotivated desire, pure desire, is God. The energy called desire is the same energy as God.”
“Desire has not to be destroyed, it has to be purified. Desire has not to be dropped, it has to be transformed. Your very being is desire; to be against it is to be against yourself and against all. AWAKENING THE ECSTATIC BODY

Tantra is a way that invites us to awaken the body’s natural ability to be ‘ecstatic’, to transform and create a spontaneous rhythm of joy and harmony between feminine and masculine energies within our own bodies and with partners.
“Ecstasy” is a term that is normally ascribed to sexual fulfillment or spiritual bliss. Most of us in the west have grown up in a culture that teaches that sexual fulfillment is ‘sinful’ and spiritual bliss is not possible without renunciation of the body.
In exact opposition to this view of life Taoist and Tantric traditions encourage us to live ecstatically through cultivation of our connection with our body and then to ‘embody’ that spirit by bringing this awareness to our daily lives. They tell us that ecstasy is a perfect word to describe the most natural and genuine way humans are meant to live, that the body is the way to reach fulfillment and bliss and that without our bodies we cannot truly experience ecstasy.
In this group we will explore the vitalizing and transformative potential of sacred sexuality in a playful and protected environment.
We will flow in a new dimension with ourselves through ancient practices and rituals of Tantric and Taoist traditions:
. we will return to the wisdom of the body, reconnecting to the power of the sexual energy
. we will give and receive healing touch through various styles and rituals of physical connection, massage and meditation.

Sacred Union is a term used to describe the profoundest levels of communion possible between two beings. Sex, when deep love is present becomes lovemaking. Lovemaking, when the spirit is nourished by unlimited love and unhindered by self-conscious ego becomes Sacred Union.
This workshop is designed specifically for couples who wish to deepen their relationship by touching core truths on the level of the individual as well as in relation. Our basis for this work is that growth, freedom and love, in a relationship, increase dramatically as both partners learn to let go of unneeded and unconscious patterns.
In this weekend workshop we will move more deeply into themes we introduced in prior events. Additionally, we will celebrate the differences between women and men by invoking the various feminine and masculine archetypes. We will explore the understanding of sex as a healing force as we discover a variety of healing sexual positions and their anatomical and energetic functions. We will also explore the vast topic of orgasm as we investigate specific techniques of ecstasy within the couple from both the Taoist and Tantric approaches.

Η Ιερή Ένωση είναι ένας όρος που χρησιμοποιείται για να περιγράψει την βαθύτερη σύνδεση-επικοινωνία μεταξύ δύο ανθρώπων. Το σεξ, όταν υπάρχει βαθιά αγάπη μετατρέπεται σε ερωτική πράξη. Η ερωτική πράξη, όταν το πνεύμα τρέφεται από απεριόριστη αγάπη και ελευθερώνεται από το ενσυνείδητο εγώ, μεταμορφώνεται σε Ιερή Ένωση.
Αυτό το σεμινάριο είναι σχεδιασμένο ειδικά για ζευγάρια που επιθυμούν να εμβαθύνουν στην σχέση τους, αγγίζοντας την ουσιώδη αλήθεια σε ατομικό επίπεδο καθώς επίσης και μέσα στην σχέση. Η βάση μας σε αυτό το σεμινάριο είναι ότι η προσωπική εξέλιξη, η ελευθερία και η αγάπη μέσα σε μια σχέση αυξάνονται δραματικά καθώς οι σύντροφοι μαθαίνουν να απελευθερώνουν αχρείαστα και ασυνείδητα μοτίβα συμπεριφοράς.
Σε αυτό το Σαββατοκύριακο θα εμβαθύνουμε πάνω σε θέματα που παρουσιάσαμε σε προηγούμενες συναντήσεις. Επίσης, θα εξυμνήσουμε τις διαφορές ανάμεσα στις γυναίκες και τους άντρες επικαλούμενοι διάφορα θυληκά και αρσενικά αρχέτυπα. Θα ανακαλύψουμε την θεραπευτική δύναμη της σεξουαλικής ενέργειας. Επίσης θα εξερευνήσουμε το τεράστιο και σημαντικό θέμα του οργασμού, καθώς εξετάζουμε τεχνικές που οδηγούν στην έκσταση το ζευγάρι μέσα από την Ταντρική και την Ταοϊστική προσέγγιση.

Θα δουλέψουμε με τεχνικές αυτό-εξερεύνησης και αλληλο-εξερεύνησης (μεταξύ του ζευγαριού) και καλλιέργειας της ενέργειας με τεχνικές και διαλογισμούς δανεισμένες και από τις δύο παραδόσεις. Η Καλπίτα και ο Ατίτι διδάσκουν μαζί πολλά χρόνια. Σε αυτό το διάστημα έχουν δουλέψει και αναπτύξει τεχνικές διδασκαλίας μαζί που συνεχίζουν να τις βελτιώνουν καθώς εξελίσσονται σαν ζευγάρι και σαν άτομα. Η εμπειρία τους σαν δάσκαλοι αλλά και σαν ζευγάρι στο μονοπάτι της Ιερής Σεξουαλικότητας τους έχει αποδείξει την αξία του να δουλεύουν μαζί σαν μια δυναμική αλλά και ευαίσθητη δύναμη που αλληλοσυμπληρώνονται. One can say that these things are inherent aspects of Love and that Love is larger than Life itself. In any case, love is something that requires our full awareness. In this day long workshop we take a journey into how we express our love, what are our boundaries to giving and receiving love and pleasure, and what it means to BE Love.

Moreover, Awakening the Ecstatic Body is a journey into the senses. Our 5 human senses of taste, touch, smell, hearing and seeing can be used as portals to deeper realms of self-knowing and will help to develop our ‘6th sense’ or intuition, which is invaluable when ‘sensing into’ a partner or lover. The subtle awareness one develops through this work is a kind of ‘qi gong’ which one can continue to evolve in relationships with friends, family and even co-workers after the completion of the workshop.
This event will showcase techniques and rituals designed to help us, first, to feel more bodily connected to our senses and, second, to celebrate this beautiful, temporary gift we have been given without shame. We will remind ourselves of the longing and desire that is innate in us to experience ourselves and our world in bold, new ways and, eventually, to embody our love while manifesting our truest selves.

Taoist Sexual Practices and Tantra are both founded in the understanding that the body is a sacred vessel- a vessel we use to experience ourselves as complete and eventually integrated beings. Taoist self- cultivation techniques include various physical and energetic practices, which purify and heal past traumas at the individual level. Tantric rituals and meditations nourish and cultivate the relationship with self, the other and world as the path toward wholeness and unity with the divine.
In an atmosphere of openness and warmth we work with the feminine and masculine polarities cherished by both Taoist and Tantric traditions.
